Rehearsal 26/12/2011

For this rehearsal, we decided to give Mambang Studio a shot.

Actually it was the 2nd. The first was few months back when Amir was still in the fold. Reminded us how good this studio was and still among the best in Perak. What other studios offer a triggered drum?

Unfortunately, it is in Kampung Gajah which is a 1-hour drive. Mutilator has no problem since he live there. We spent a few hours in his house listening to his vinyl collections.

Then the members of Infernal Void came and brought us fried noodles. Poey the guitarist lent his nice Jackson to play with.

Rehearsal 19th December 2011

For this session, we asked Necro-X to record our rehearsal. It was raw, dirty and full of mistakes. Because of this, we are contemplating of releasing it officially. And we will call it - Chucked For Life! How's that for a start?

This is it folks!

We have finished writing 8 new songs and very much furnished them during our rehearsals. Now it is time for us to record and release them out.

We will record them at a studio in Ipoh in two weeks time. The studio has been booked. We estimate that the whole session will be completed in a month time.

The tracks are as follow:

In the meantime, we are also planning to release our rehearsals for free. This is important since DEATH released tons of rehearsals before the debut album and it is vital for us to follow them as much as we can.

Rehearsal 28th October 2011

We rehearsed on a more systematic route. We tried to lock each parts of the song though we barely managed it. Still it was fun. We laughed at our mistakes.

We got Meor & Zahrul (of the legendary SCUM) as our guests. No, they were not there just to watch. They were there to discuss on an important project that will involve DIED as well. Stay tuned!

Rehearsal 23rd October 2011

Yeah, we know. It has been almost two weeks since we last practice together. Dr. Bentara was busy on the last week. Somehow, we managed to gather again.

Good news. We now practiced all the 6 songs! Looking good! OK the songs are still titled in numbers. Like song no 1, 2 to 6. No lyrics yet. Not even song titles.

We started to play along with metronome now to prepare for the recording in December 2011.

Rehearsal 9th October 2011

It's rehearsal time again. The same venue. Pogie Mutilator brought his sister and brother in law as special guests. Not forgetting, the member of Kampung Gajah's finest, Dark Chronicles was also there with us.

No progress. We were stucked with the same songs as last week.

Rehearsal 3rd October 2011

We were so tied up with other things that we had to shift more than once, the time when we can practice. In the end, we managed.

We guessed that, no matter what, we have to practice at least once a week to sustain the momentum.

Tonight, we managed to play 3 new songs which are numbered 1, 3 and 4 (yeah, no titles yet). That's progress!

Rehearsal 27th September 2011

Rehearsing the song titled "1" since we don't have a title and lyrics yet.

But we also rehearsed the two tracks recorded for the Ipoh's Metal Militants Supremacist II compilation, Death By Leprosy and Only Deaths in Zombieland.

Composing stage

DIED is currently is composing stage. So far, 6 songs have been composed out of 8 that was planned.

Hopefully to release them on a CD format by Jan 2012.

DIED would like to welcome, DARK-E (SIL KHANNAZ, VOCIFERATION ETERNITY) to its camp as lead guitarist. His prolific with both bands are undeniable. He is with SIL KHANNAZ since 1997 channeling his artistry leading to SIL KHANNAZ's unique blend of Death Metal. With VOCIFERATION ETERNITY, he is the frontman and uncompromising artist releasing two well-received albums.
